Jesus stands at the crossroad!
Lets
read Jeremiah 6:16-19: This
was written to the Israelites in the Old Testament, but I believe it
applies to us today also. We are no different then they where. |
16This
is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask
for the ancient paths, |
When we get to a crossroad in
life, we need to look for the tried and time proven way. It is easy to go
down the wrong path. |
ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. |
If we choose the correct way,
we are guaranteed results. |
But you
said, `We will not walk in it.' |
We seem to always want to reject this, we no everything and don't need help. |
17I
appointed watchmen over you and said, `Listen to the sound of the
trumpet!' But you said, `We will not listen.' |
We are stubborn and don’t
listen to our inner voice. |
18Therefore
hear, O nations; observe, O witnesses, what will happen to them. 19Hear,
O earth I am bringing disaster on this people the fruit of their schemes, because they have not
listened to my words and have rejected my law.
If we choose to go our own way, it will definitely bring bad things on ourselves. It doesn’t even need to be anything God sends, we seem to be able to take care of it on our own. All he has to do is stand back and watch. |
So what do we do when we reach the crossroad? We look for Jesus,
because he is standing there waiting for us. He wants to help us. |
Jesus is there to catch us; all
we have to do is give ourselves over to him. |
This applies
to Christians and Non-Christians. If you are a Christian he will help you.
If you are a Non-Christian he will help you. All you have
to do is give yourselves to him. |

How do you do this? All you do is ask. We would love to help you with this. |
